Why customize your trip?

At Alandis Travel we offer a wonderful opportunity to your customers – non-conformist travelers with a love for different cultures – to get to know the cultural heritage of the countries they visit by personalizing their trips, so that they have a strong educational focus touching on a wide variety of social themes.

We take care of the design and planning of your trip from the very beginning, and offer support throughout all stages of the process: from first contact, trip design, and contract completion to the follow-up once the program has finished.

Our specialty is creating innovative programs for groups in Spanish-speaking destinations, providing an enriching environment through unique experiences. You can choose your dates, theme, academic components, excursions, volunteer activities, type of accommodation and how many meals you wish to include. We will be happy to advise you to meet your clients’ expectations, always keeping your budget in mind.

Navigate Northern PR

Navigate Northern PR (Day trip)

This route will take us to the northern region of Puerto Rico, where we will navigate the towns of Arecibo, Vega Alta y Vega Baja. Our first stop will be the beautiful waterfalls of Río Tanama in Arecibo, where you will be immersed in nature at one of the island’s most striking waterfalls. This semi-adventure tour includes a short hike along the river to one of Puerto Rico’s hidden treasures: Playa Vega Baja in the scenic town of Vega Baja. This immense and remote beach is perfect for those wishing to rock-climb or just enjoy natural views, far from city crowds and other tourists. Last but not least, we will visit El Manantial de Tortuguero, a lovely natural pool surrounded by pristine, leafy landscapes and the songs of local bird species. This outing takes 5-6 hours, including travel time.

Ecological Farm in Galicia

Learn about how an ecological farm works. An expert will lead us throughout stables, the milking room and the room where they make ecological yogurth. We will end our visit at Casa Grande, an 18th century old mansion, tasting some of the ecological products that the farm produces.

“Cuatro Puertorriqueño” Workshop with D.Jaime Alicea

For more than 30 years, Jaime Alicea has been in charge of the artisan work behind a typical Puerto Rican instrument, the Cuatro Puertorriqueño. He uses the wood of both native tree species and other species that have adapted to the island. He will welcome us to his workshop, where the Cuatro Puertorriqueño is created by the traditional method of hollowing a single piece of wood. Jaime’s brand Serie Dorada is a symbol of distinction in the world cuatro manufacturers.

This monastery, active from the 16th to the 19th century, is unique in its kind. An expert will guide our visit to this marvelous monument. We will observe the contrast between the austere common rooms and the decorative exuberance of the church with some of the masterpieces of the Spanish baroque.
